Vadim A. Merkulov, Dr.Sci. (Med.), Professor, Deputy General Director of Sceintific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products, Editor-in-Chief of Biological Products. Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment, reached the age of 55 years on August 8, 2025.

Dr. Merkulov’s scientific interests cover molecular biology, virology, and immunology, resulting in more than 300 publications and patents.  Especially notable is Dr. Merkulov’s activity as Editor-in-Chief of Biological Products. Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment since 2021. In 2023, the Journal was included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications mandatory for publication of the main scientific results of dissertations for the Candidate degree and the Doctor degree; in 2025, it was indexed by Scopus database.
